 With my USA+ card, I buy two prescriptions for less than my $25 insurance co-pay. One medication is $38 at Walgreens, but my USA+ price is only $8.00! The other medication is $17 retail at Walmart, which is already cheaper than my insurance co-pay, but my USA+ price is only $6.51.
Before I was a USA+ Member, I was spending a significant amount of money each
month on prescription medicines. One month's supply of Protopic had a
staggering cost of $1,304... I am now reaping the benefits of being a USA+
Member. A three month supply of Protopic now costs me only $113, a significant
savings when compared to the $1,304 I had been paying each month. The cost of
all the medications needed to treat my diabetes also decreased from $339 to
$45.33 each month. I am so pleased with the USA+ program that I am encouraging
my doctors to refer it to other patients. My savings are almost $20,000 a year.
 I slipped and fell June 6th. I knew I hurt my knee but didn't it was a big deal. Within the hour it was swollen and painful. Three days later I took myself to the Orthopedist. X-rays and MRIs later revealed a fracture in my femur. Doctor put me in a brace and thought it would heal in a month. Second MRI taken 8/17 revealed further fracture and the need for Surgery to repair knee. I have Blue Cross Texas risk pool with a $5000. deductible. To date I have charges totaling $2581. All I paid was my $100. so far. I am waiting for the Surgeon to call me today with time and date to repair my Femur. What would I have done without that simple accident plan!
